Rockford Basket Press Shiraz is a tribute to the Barossa's early winemaking heritage. It is made from small parcels of old, dry grown Shiraz from nearly 30 of the Barossa's finest grape growing families.

The vineyards are situated in various districts around the Barossa Valley. Each adds complexity and depth to the final blend.

First produced in 1984, the wine is handcrafted using traditional methods and equipment from the turn of the last century. It then matures in seasoned American and French oak casks for two years.

Inky garnet, Rockford Basket Press Shiraz is a soft, earthy wine with dark berry flavours, fine tannins and a long finish.

An outstanding Barossa Shiraz. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
